Keyur Govande is the Chief Technology Officer at Depop. With over 18 years of experience in engineering leadership and product innovation, Keyur is responsible for Depop’s technology vision and strategy, driving scalable growth and building user trust.

Prior to joining Depop, Keyur held the position of Chief Architect, VP of Engineering at Etsy (2011-2025). During this time, Keyur spearheaded the company’s cloud migration, played a pivotal role in product expansion across payments, trust & safety, member services as well as buyer and seller experiences. He drove strategic improvements in Search and Ads and established Etsy’s Dublin product engineering team from the ground up.

Before Etsy, Keyur worked as a Staff Software Engineer, where he led technical strategies for PayPal’s Private Credit and supported key international expansions and platform enhancements.
